Patrick Andersen

Partner, East Rock Capital

Patrick Andersen is a Partner at East Rock Capital. Previously Mr. Andersen worked at Luxor Capital, a special situations fund, where he covered Asian equity investments and event-driven investments in the U.S. Prior to Luxor, he worked at Putnam Investments as a high yield analyst. Mr. Andersen graduated from Williams College with a BA in Mathematics and Economics.

Shane Galie

Partner and Managing Director, CornerStone Partners, LLC

Shane Galie, CFA, is a Partner and Managing Director at CornerStone Partners, LLC with co-head responsibility for public equity and hedge fund investments. As a member of CornerStone’s Management Committee and Investment Committee, he is involved in all aspects of the investment process for CornerStone client assets (approximately $10.5 billion as of December 31, 2017). His prior experience includes work for the Dartmouth College Investment Office and for the University of Virginia Investment Management Company. Shane graduated summa cum laude and University Valedictorian from James Madison University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance.

Mitch Golden

Portfolio Manager, Greenlight Masters

Mitch Golden is the portfolio manager of Greenlight Masters, a New York-based investment management firm that allocates capital to value-oriented investment managers. Prior to joining Greenlight Masters, Mitch was a research consultant with Senator Investment Group, where he focused on equity, credit and special situation investments. Previously, Mitch was the founder and portfolio manager of Motu Capital Partners, a long/short equity hedge fund. Prior to founding Motu Capital Partners, Mitch served as the primary research analyst at RH Capital Associates, an opportunistic, global investment fund. Mitch began his career as a financial analyst at Wolfensohn & Co., a boutique M&A advisory firm. He then joined Oak Hill Capital, a private equity firm, and went on to be a co-founder of Quova, Inc., an Internet infrastructure company. Mitch serves on the Advisory Board for the Abaarso School of Science and Technology and is on the Advisory Council for Human Development Services of Westchester. He is also a member of the Robin Hood Family Circle in New York City. Mitch earned his BA, with Honors and Distinction, from Stanford University in 1994, and earned his MBA, with Honors, from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2003.

Tony Rettig

Partner, Winston Partners

Tony focuses on research for Winston’s funds. Prior to joining the firm in March 2011, Tony spent nearly five years as an Investment Analyst at Lane Five Capital Management, where he assisted in founding the firm and then focused on the research and selection of long and short equities for the firm’s funds. Prior to joining Lane Five, Tony was an Investment Analyst at another long/short equity firm, Matador Capital Management. He began his career in the Equity Research Department at Raymond James & Associates. Tony received an MBA from UVA’s Darden School of Business, where he received a Faculty Award for Academic Excellence, and a BS from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.

Elliott Fan

Chief Investment Officer, IronBirch Capital Limited

Elliot Fan is the Chief Investment Officer at IronBirch Capital Limited. Before IronBirch Capital, Elliott was a Director and Responsible Officer at Karst Peak Capital, a Greater China focused equity long / short hedge fund seed by Julian H. Robertson, in charge of research and investment of Greater China Region. Before Karst Peak Capital, Elliott work in Tiger Management's Shanghai office and E. J. McKay, a Shanghai-based boutique investment bank practicing cross-border Merger & Acquisition. Elliott graduated from Fudan University with an honor.

Nishchay Goel

Founder, Duro Capital Limited

Nishchay Goel is the Founder of Duro Capital Limited. Duro Capital is a fundamental research driven equity manager with a focus on India. Prior to founding Duro Capital in September 2018, Nishchay was a Managing Director at Mousse Partners, a New York-headquartered family office, where he ran the India investment platform across asset classes from 2009 to 2018. Nishchay served as Managing Director at Northsound Capital, an equity long/short hedge fund, between 2005 and 2008. He was part of the Private Equity group at Mousse Partners between 2001 and 2004, and started his career in 1999 at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York in the Investment Banking Division. Nishchay graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Economics, and received an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Andrew Limond

Fund Manager, Panah Fund

Andrew Limond is the Fund Manager of the Panah Fund, based at AIMS Asset Management Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. The Panah Fund is a long-short equity fund which focuses on long-term value investment in Asian equities. Andrew graduated from Oxford University in 2002 with a First Class Honours Degree in Oriental Studies. He spent the next few years learning Asian languages and undertaking anthropological research in the region. He worked for Ballingal Investment Advisors (Hong Kong) from 2007 to 2010, and then at Lloyd George Management (Hong Kong) until 2013. He then moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2013 to establish the Panah Fund. Andrew has lived in Asia for 17 years (Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia), is fluent in written and spoken Chinese and Japanese, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Takuya Shigaki

Founder, Chief Investment Officer, Lone Alpha Capital Management

Takuya Shigaki is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Lone Alpha Capital Management Pte. Ltd., an investment management company based in Singapore. Lone Alpha makes concentrated investments in public companies in Japan where Lone Alpha believes that it can enhance fundamental value of those investees through its constructive engagement. Lone Alpha is a team which specializes in Japanese accounting, tax, legal, regulations and M&A. Prior to founding Lone Alpha, Takuya worked at Oasis Management as an investment analyst and led several Japanese investment strategies. Before joining Oasis, Takuya worked at Goldman Sachs in Tokyo and San Francisco as a vice president of investment banking group. Takuya graduated from Waseda University where he earned B.A. in Economics.

Jonathan Shih

Founder, Portfolio Manager, Keyrock Capital

Jonathan Shih is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Keyrock Capital Management. Prior to founding Keyrock, Jonathan was at Tybourne Capital Management where he led TCM’s investments in the global consumer sector. Jonathan was an Investment Manager at Ward Ferry. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and BA from Brown University.

Amy Wenyuan Zhang

Founder & Chief Investment Officer, Excel Investment (HK)

Amy Zhang has a total of 19 years hedge fund investment experience. Before she founded Excel Investment (HK) Limited in 2014, she worked as a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Imperia Investment Group, Hong Kong. Prior to that, she was Managing Director at Blackstone Group Hong Kong in 2008 with same team of her ex-colleagues from SAC. Prior to SAC, Amy worked in San Francisco at Passport Capital and JMG Triton Capital from 2000-2006 where she specialized in the Asia investment portfolio. Ms Zhang holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Columbia University, the United States, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Lawrence University, the United States. Ms Zhang was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst in 2003.
